Information regarding the clinics is detailed below. The following is a Standard Package, which can be tailored to meet our guests' wants and wishes.
The Place
Just twenty minutes away from Ezeiza International Airport, and forty minutes away from Buenos Aires, lies the Estancia where Marcial Socas, Director of LPP Clinics, will receive you in a charming environment. The main house where you will stay was built in 1890 and is surrounded by a magnificent one hundred acre park. The practice field is just meters away from the house and for those moments when you are not on a horse, you can also relax by the pool, play a little tennis or take long walks among old trees and bird song.
The Director

Marcial Socas has over 25 year experience in Polo Clinics. He was born into a family with a strong polo tradition. He was raised among polo ponies and by the age of eighteen he and his brother Salvador, started helping their mother withorganizing one of the first polo schools in Argentina. Ten years later he was running the school and the clinics all by himself and he has never stopped teaching and coaching ever since.
As a 4-goal professional he Marcial has played in Spain, Portugal, England, USA, Jamaica and Australia. He has played several times as a teammate of two renowned 10-goal players: his younger brother Adolfo Cambiaso and Bartolome .Lolo. Castagnola, both actually playing for La Dolfina Polo Team, probably the best team in the world.

He is also a national and international referee accredited by the Argentine Polo Association.
Marcial is 43 years old and lives at the ranch with his wife and kids.
The Clinic
Argentina, where the highest level of polo is played, dominates the professional sport and is the source of the world's top rated players.
This is why there is no better place to strengthen your polo abilities. Through customized training lessons, you will quickly improve your game while learning from and playing with Argentine professionals.
If you have little or no experience at all, our clinics will focus in providing you with the basic skills necessary to play polo and practice using these skills under game conditions.
You decide the length of the program, the ideal being between 7 and 10 days. On the first day, your riding and game skills will be assessed so as to provide you with the most suitable horses for your level of play.
The day begins at 9 am and after a nice breakfast, the polo ponies will be waiting for you, saddled and ready for an hour and a half stick-and-balling session. After that, you will be free until four in the afternoon. Lunch will be served and after lunch you are very welcome to relax by the pool, use the tennis court or rest a little bit.
In the afternoon, we will take you to a polo field just minutes away, where you will play a four chukker game with other teammates. Once the game is over, we will take you back and you can choose either to have dinner at the main house or at a fancy restaurant downtown Buenos Aires. Another option is to attend one of the many picturesque tango shows.
Depending on the length of your stay, your level of play or your particular needs, other options include:
- Participation in local tournaments: the ranch is located in the heart of Argentine polo country; there are many polo fields and polo clubs within a few miles around so your participation in low, or medium or high goal tournaments can be easily arranged.
- Practices or games with renowned professional polo players.
- Attendance at to polo tournaments such as the Argentine Open Championship.
- Playing golf at a nearby course.
- Daily trips to Buenos Aires for shopping, sightseeing, lunch or dinner, etc.
- Short trips to main tourist destinations: Iguazú Falls, Perito Moreno Glacier, Tierra del Fuego, etc.
Daily fare includes:
- Airport transfer in/out
- Single or double room, full board (4 meals/day), horses, tack and basic equipment. We recommend that you bring your comfortable riding boots.
- Individual assessment and lessons; group practice matches or stick-and-balling sessions, depending on instructor recommendations.
Phone calls and laundry services are not included.
In case you would like to attend any polo events running during your stay (Palermo Open Championship, Hurlingham Open, etc.) we can arrange for ticket purchasing and transportation.

Practice & Play with High Handicapped Players
Argentina seems to be a never-ending source of high handicapped (8 to 10 goal) players. Figures as renowned as Adolfo Cambiaso who happens to be Marcial Socas's younger brother, Bartolomé "Lolo" Castagnola or many other top players, have their training grounds just minutes away from the ranch.
Through LPP Clinics, the possibility of playing alongside high-handicapped professionals is not remote but absolutely real! Just contact us and we will arrange a full day of sharing practice, a few chukkers and even an have an "asado" (traditional Argentine barbecue) with them for lunch.
The players have tight schedules and many commitments but, at the time of your query, we will inform you who's available. If you have any preferences, please let us know and we will make our best effort to satisfy your request.

Every year in late November, Adolfo Cambiaso and his team La Dolfina invite teams up to 22 goals of handicap to play the Diamond Cup. It is a unique opportunity to play polo among the best players in the world and. We can arrange for you to take part in this tournament.
